Hello golfers,
Another week goes by and the daylight is not going in the right direction, but at least the weather has still been good for this time of year.
Upcoming Competitions
The start sheet for the Shotgun Waltz event on Sunday, 23 October is now in the shop. There is still a few places left so please give us a call and we will get your names down.
Captain Pro Play-off News
This Sunday saw myself and Captain Mike Handley take part in our last match of the year in which we took on last years Captain Dennis Parfitt and Gary Barnett. Despite the dodgy weather, the golf was at a high standard and we eventually won the match one up.
Not only did we play our last match, but the Captain/Pro Playoff also took part the same day with Mark Spearpoint and Jackie Luetchford winning with an impressive 45 points.
I'd like to thank everyone who participated on the day and over the year in our matches and I look forward to the competition next year.
I would personally like to say a huge thanks to our Club Captain, Mike Handley. I have really got to know Mike over the last year and I have thoroughly enjoyed all our matches together and appreciate his support throughout the season.
