New 2017 Titleist Pro V1

A fun quiz question before we tell you why the 2017 Pro V1 ball is so good - the prize is a sleeve of the new Titleist Pro V1 balls and all you have to do is be the first person to answer our question. The question is - what is the name 'Pro V1' short for?

The first right answer we receive will win a sleeve of the new balls, and if you don't Google the answer that will be even more impressive! To let us know your guess Click here to get in touch.

Before the first Pro V1 balls came along in 2001 a golfer had a difficult choice - to use a hard feeling ball and get more distance off the tee or to sacrifice distance and use a softer feeling ball, either way there was always a trade-off, when the Pro V1 ball came along with its revolutionary urethane cover it changed everything.

Suddenly the new ball offered the best of both worlds - incredible distance off the tee but also an unrivalled soft feel and control on short game shots around the green, as soon as it was launched nearly 100 Tour players switched immediately to the new ball and many have not changed since!

Average golfers think they're not good enough to use a Pro V1 ball, but the truth is that the Pro V1 ball is the best ball for EVERY golfer. If you like a slightly harder feeling ball then the Pro V1x is the ball for you, if you haven't tried a Pro V1 ball you don't know what you're missing out on and the new version with its improved core is better than ever as it's softer and more durable, but offers a penetrating flight but lower spin on tee shots which is the key to more distance.

Have a look at this video here and you can see why the 2017 Pro V1 ball is better than ever.

New Grips for the New Season

As we all know Golf grips ware out and if you play regularly then you should have your clubs regripped once a year, if clubs loose there grip then as a player we grip tighter which leads to faults in the swing and we loose feel, so for the month of February if you have your full set of clubs re gripped we will take 20% OFF the final price and we can have the clubs done within 1 day.

Coaching news

New Stock Arriving

New stock is starting to come in every week and the main club brands I am stocking this year are Callaway and Yonex and our putters will be the latest Odyssey range which will be in store by mid February.

I have the new Titleist driver and fairways also but please remember I can get hold of any stock you may required so always ask before going elsewhere.

Our plan this year is to have 2 or 3 demo days with Callaway and Yonex so look out for these dates coming soon.

Get Fitted

Also remember if you are interested in getting fitted with Callaway or Titleist then why not take advantage of the free fitting service which can be booked in by myself or Alfie. Our new GC2 launch monitor has gone down very well with a few shocked Golfers after we have been doing our gapping sessions, it is very safe to say that us Golfers feel we carry the ball further than what we actually do myself included!!

So why not book in and find out exactly how far you hit the ball in the air and how we can improve your distance?

Make 2017 Your Best Season Yet

Now is the time to plan your season with The Masters less than 60 days away. Ask yourself how you can improve your Golf this year to last year, will getting new equipment or using a different ball help you this year? Make 2017 your best season ever and make change, remember if you keep doing the same thing you will keep getting the same results.

Lessons available with myself 6 days a week, on course or off course with very competitive rates. Please get in touch to book a lesson.

Pro Am

Pro Ams 2017 Season

As I said in my newsletter a few weeks ago I am going to play more Golf this year so you may see me out on the Golf course more often, a few of you might think why is he on the Golf course as we don't see him out here much, but now is the time to get back out on the course and do what I love the most.

So if anyone would like to play Pro Ams this year either in Surrey, kent, Hampshire or anywhere really then click here to let me know or come and see me in the shop. The PGA south region has a very active schedule as some of you know and I have played in a few with the members at Ashford and had some fun days out.
