Happy New Year - welcome back to this, the first of 2019’s, Denham Pro Shop newsletters.

I trust you all had a nice Christmas Holiday period and are all now ready for another calendar years’ worth of golf here at the club. So, with the passing of the festive period and, thankfully, the shortest day, hopefully January and February will whiz by and not be too brutal on the golf course or our scheduled competitions and events. Then, before you know it, we’ll be talking about The Masters!

Winter grip promotion

As we know in winter with the cold weather, grips get dry and slippery, so why not bring your clubs in and let us re-grip them for you. We have selected grips which we can re-grip your woods and irons for only £69.95 and for this we will even re-spike your golf shoes for half price if required.

Clubs for cash

We have had a staggering number of second-hand clubs handed in to us over the last few weeks, so if you have any second-hand clubs lying around that are five-years-old or less, then we can sell these for you; taking out the hassle for you to pack them up and getting rid of them.

Once we sell them, we will give you 100% for them and we will credit your Pro Shop accounts with the value, so you can either buy new equipment which will be in-store by end of January-mid February or purchase anything you like.

Studio news

Have you booked?

Just a reminder; anyone wishing to book the swing studio for practice sessions in the winter, or would like to book it with friends to play golf, then just give the Pro Shop a call and reserve a time.

Prices:

30-minute Practice session £15
One hour practice session £30

Playing golf in studio £30 per hour or £7.50 per person if playing a fourball.

Winter health check

A new year always brings with it a sense of renewed motivation when it comes to improving your golf game – and 2019 isn’t any different. So, before you head to the course next, go into the garage and give your equipment the once-over to make sure all is in order for the year ahead.

Golfin' in the rain
